Purple Pastures Lavender Farm was planted on a dream in 1999. Stan Wood, a retired washing machine salesman, decided to cultivate thousands of lavender plants on the sunny hillsides of his 40-acre farm in Salinas, California. His daughter Allison went to work developing lavender products that were all-natural and eco-friendly. By 2003 their Lavender Dryer Sachets hit the shelves of thousands of natural foods stores nation-wide, and popularity has been increasing ever since.

We still farm using sustainable practices such as drip irrigation, recyclable packaging and reduced carbon footprint to ensure a better tomorrow. We are also proud to be certified women-owned and certified organic.
