Happy Habitats all started thanks to a single hamster, Mooksie. One day while Mooksie was outside running back and forth in his ball a woman walked by with her dog. “Why can’t you walk your hamster the way you walk your dog?” This was the thought that brought Happy Habitats into the world.

At Happy Habitats we create unique toys and accessories for small animals. We are the first company to innovate in the small pet space in the last 40 years. Happy Habitats makes products for pets, not people.

In 2021 and 2023, Happy Habitats won the best in show award at SuperZoo for the small pet category. In 2023 at the Global Pet Expo Happy Habitats was an award winner in the new product showcase.
